Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist, Gothenburg
We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist with expertise in building and deploying machine learning models and implementing ML Ops processes for scalable and reliable production systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and data science, and is comfortable working across the full lifecycle from data exploration to production.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience in machine learning and data science, such as predictive modeling, recommendation systems, natural language processing, or computer vision.
- Strong foundation in statistics, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
- Proficiency in Python and common data science/ML tooling (e.g. pandas, scikit-learn, and a deep learning framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Experience with data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with Generative AI and large language models is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Commitment to ethical AI practices and ensuring data security and user privacy.
- Experience with Git and other version control systems.
- Proven ability to collaborate in agile teams, handling multiple projects and deliverables efficiently.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to adapt solutions to different project environments and challenges.
