We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team and take ownership of complex projects at the intersection of Data Science, AI, and Digital Health.
In this role, you will work closely with clinical, product, and technical stakeholders to understand real-world healthcare problems, translate them into data-driven and technology-oriented solutions, and independently drive projects from early exploration through POCs, evaluation, and product development.
This is a hands-on role that combines strong Data Science capabilities with product thinking, clinical understanding, and a research-oriented approach to problem solving.
What you’ll do
- Work with clinical and business stakeholders to understand complex problems and translate them into clear technical and data-driven questions.
- Explore and analyze clinical and other complex datasets to identify opportunities, patterns, and insights.
- Define and investigate Data Science and AI-related problems, formulate hypotheses, and design experiments to evaluate potential solutions.
- Build POCs, prototypes, and data pipelines to validate ideas and demonstrate solutions.
- Work with existing AI/ML technologies and models, including modern AI and LLM-based solutions where relevant.
- Evaluate solutions rigorously and define appropriate metrics, benchmarks, and validation approaches.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to turn successful POCs into product capabilities.
- Work directly with customers and clinical professionals to understand their needs, communicate technical concepts, and iterate on solutions.
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects, balancing clinical needs, data, technology, product considerations, and business goals.
- Bring a pragmatic, research-oriented mindset to ambiguous problems and help the team determine what is technically and clinically feasible.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in HealthTech / Digital Health companies.
- Strong background in Data Science/ Algorithms, including experience working with complex datasets, defining analytical problems, conducting experiments, and evaluating solutions.
- Proven ability to independently take an ambiguous problem and drive it from problem definition through exploration, POC, evaluation, and toward a product solution.
- Hands-on programming and prototyping experience.
- Experience working directly with customers and/or clinical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of clinical and healthcare contexts, workflows, and challenges.
- Ability to work effectively across Data Science, Product, Engineering, and clinical domains.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A practical and curious mindset, with the ability to combine analytical rigor with a strong focus on building and delivering solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience working with AI / LLMs / Generative AI.
- Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
