About The Role
We are looking for a Python Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and backend services. The ideal candidate has strong Python programming skills, hands-on experience with Django and REST APIs, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and Django.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Design efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Follow software development best practices, security standards, and CI/CD processes.
Required Skills
- 1–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Django or Django REST Framework.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and API integrations.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with FastAPI or Flask.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Redis, Celery, or message queues.
- Exposure to microservices and distributed systems.
- Basic understanding of application security and authentication such as OAuth2/JWT.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
Compensation
Estimated Salary Range: $90,000–$195,000+ annually, depending on experience, technical skills, location, and role level.
