About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Certified Medical Coder with 2–4 years of experience to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on coding experience across multiple specialties and a strong understanding of US healthcare coding standards.
Responsibilities
Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for medical records
Review clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding and compliance
Worked on coding for specialties like:
- Pediatric professional coders & Obstetrician professional coder.
Ensure adherence to coding guidelines, payer policies, and compliance regulations
Collaborate with healthcare providers for clarification and documentation improvement
Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks
Required Skills
- Certification required (CPC / CCS / COC or equivalent)
- 2–4 years of experience in medical coding (US healthcare)
- Experience in Pediatric & Obstetrician coding.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
