Orange Elephant is looking for a Showrunner / Head Writer to lead the writing and creative development of a AI microfiction series.
You will shape the overall narrative, create episode beat sheets, strengthen scripts and maintain creative consistency across the series.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee story and character arcs
- Write episode scripts, scenes and dialogue
- Create strong beat sheets for every episode
- Build engaging hooks, emotional turns and cliffhangers
- Add, remove or restructure scenes to improve pacing
- Maintain character, tone and story consistency
- Review episodes for continuity and overall flow
- Coordinate with editors and provide clear creative feedback to improve the overall flow of the show
- Collaborate with the creative and production teams
Requirements
- 3–4 years of professional writing experience in television, long-form series or microdramas
- Strong understanding of story structure, character arcs and episodic storytelling
- Excellent dialogue-writing and rewriting skills
- Experience maintaining creative consistency across multiple episodes
- Ability to manage both the larger story and individual episode beats
- Willingness to work full-time from our Pune office
Experience in microfiction, animation, web series, audio dramas or audiobook adaptations is a plus.
