Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architecture
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
- Monitor security events and respond to incidents
- Implement encryption and access control systems
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
- Train development teams on secure coding practices
- Manage security tooling and infrastructure
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of encryption, authentication, and authorization
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP security services)
- Understanding of privacy regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in security tools and vulnerability assessment
- Knowledge of secure development lifecycle practices
- Incident response and forensics experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.)
- Experience with privacy-focused applications
- Knowledge of zero-trust security architecture
- Background in threat modeling and risk assessment
- Experience with security automation and DevSecOps
