Senior Frontend Engineer – React/Next.js + AI at BairesDev
In this role, you'll own frontend experiences on a streaming chat product that's expanding into analytics views where accuracy directly shapes customer conversations. You'll build within an established design system, crafting reusable components and validating AI-driven experiences with real rigor rather than by inspection. This is your opportunity to bring both frontend craft and AI fluency to a product where precision genuinely matters, extending backend services when the frontend needs them and raising experience issues before anyone has to ask.
What You'll Do:
- Build and own frontend experiences for a streaming chat application expanding into analytics views.
- Develop reusable components and hooks within an established design system.
- Validate AI-driven experiences against evaluation sets rather than manual inspection.
- Extend Python services where frontend functionality requires backend support.
- Proactively surface experience issues rather than waiting for feedback.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience with React and Next.js using TypeScript.
- 2+ years of experience with AI/ML-driven applications, including LLM integrations.
- Experience with LLM evaluation, including LangSmith, LLM-as-judge, offline evals, or golden datasets.
- 2+ years of experience with Python.
- Experience with AWS.
- High attention to detail in UI, including pixel accuracy, proactive polish, and design spec fidelity.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with analytics and charting UI, including funnels, bar and time series charts, using D3, Recharts, or Visx.
- Familiarity with generative UI and AI-generated experiences, including model-driven components.
- Experience working inside an established design system such as Odyssey, Material, or Carbon.
- Strong accessibility (a11y) and responsive web app practices.
- Experience with streaming chat interfaces, including LangGraph API, WebSockets, and token streaming.
