About the Role
We are looking for a UX Product Designer with 2+ years of experience to join our product team and help shape intuitive, accessible, and business-driven digital experiences. This role is ideal for a designer who is comfortable working hands-on across the full design process, from research and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and design systems, while collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment. You will play a key role in translating user needs and business goals into clear, usable, and visually consistent interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
Design Systems & Frameworks
- Design and maintain UI components using Microsoft Fluent UI as the core design system.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure design consistency across React / Angular component-based implementations.
- Contribute to the evolution of design guidelines, patterns, and reusable components.
Accessibility
- Apply WCAG 2.1 AA standards throughout the design process.
- Design accessible and inclusive interfaces that work across diverse user needs and assistive technologies.
- Partner with engineering to validate accessibility compliance before release.
User Research & Validation
- Plan and run usability testing and A/B testing to validate design decisions.
- Gather and synthesize user research to inform design direction.
- Use data and qualitative feedback to iterate and improve existing flows.
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the full product development cycle.
- Translate business and user requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI in Figma.
- Operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities.
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, backing choices with research and data.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 2–5 years of experience as a UX / Product Designer.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fluent UI.
- Exposure to React / Angular component-based design.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive UI.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma (wireframes, prototypes, design systems).
- Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and user research.
- Data-driven approach to design decision-making.
- Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers and Engineers.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Highly Valued
- Exposure to Miro, Adobe Suite, or similar collaboration/design tools.
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications.
- Knowledge of responsive/adaptive design, localization, and performance considerations.
- Exposure to developer-facing or API-driven products.
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design ownership.
- Design automation tools like Figma Make and Claude design, prompting and automating design workflows.
Ecommerce & Transactional UX (Nice to Have)
- Experience designing checkout, payment, and transaction flows.
- Focus on conversion optimization, error reduction, and usability.
