It all started in sunny San Diego, California in 2004 when a visionary engineer, Fred Luddy, saw the potential to transform how we work. Fast forward to today — ServiceNow stands as a global market leader, bringing innovative AI-enhanced technology to over 8,100 customers, including 85% of the Fortune 500®. Our intelligent cloud-based platform seamlessly connects people, systems, and processes to empower organizations to find smarter, faster, and better ways to work. But this is just the beginning of our journey. Join us as we pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone.

Benefit options available through Magnit Global, depending on contract factors and upon meeting requirements.

- Own end-to-end design for cross-product employee experience initiatives, from problem framing through shipped experience.

- Design the conversation itself—how an assistant opens, asks, confirms, recovers from a wrong turn, and hands off to a person.

- Work directly with models to get the output the experience needs: writing and refining prompts and system instructions, assembling examples, and running evaluations to see what actually changed.

- Hold the visual bar. Bring a critical eye to work in progress, design in alignment with our systems, and know when a system needs to be pushed rather than followed.

- Get into the front-end code to understand how something works and change it, partnering with engineers to land the details that make an experience feel finished.

- Compress the distance between an idea and something people can use. Get from brief to working, interactive prototype in days rather than sprints.

- Apply AI across your practice—research synthesis, concept exploration, content design, prototyping in code—and exercise judgment about where it earns its place and where it doesn't.

- Build the workflows, prompts, and patterns that raise the whole team's velocity, then teach them so they stick.

- Advocate for design with cross-functional partners and stakeholders, using working prototypes to make the argument instead of decks.

- Mentor designers on the team and hold a high bar for craft.

- SkillsA portfolio of shipped end-to-end work that shows how you got there, not only the final screens.

- Conversational design experience—dialogue and prompt design, turn structure, error and fallback handling, and tone—for assistants, agents, or other chat-based products.

- Hands-on experience shaping model behavior toward a specific output: prompt and system instruction design, few-shot examples, fine-tuning data, or evaluation loops. You don't need to train models from scratch. You do need to know how to move one toward the behavior you want, and how to tell whether it worked.

- Ability to read front-end code, understand what it's doing, and manipulate it—HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with React or a comparable framework. Writing production-quality components yourself is a plus, not a prerequisite.

- Comfort in a developer's environment: browser dev tools, a repo, a pull request. When something behaves oddly, you open the inspector before you open a ticket.

- Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools—AI features in Figma, code generation and agentic coding tools, LLM-based research synthesis, or similar—and a clear point of view on their limits.

- Concrete examples of how AI made you faster: work you delivered in less time, explorations you could afford that you couldn't before, or a step in your process you rebuilt around it. You should be able to walk through the before and the after.

- Strong interaction design, information architecture, and visual craft fundamentals. AI accelerates the work; it does not replace the judgment.

- Track record of influencing partners and stakeholders without formal authority.

- Experience designing enterprise or internal-facing software.

- Education8+ years of relevant product design experience.

- BA/BS degree or higher in Design, Design Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in other related fields.

- Experience designing within an established design system.

- Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.

- Experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web, or agency).
