Qualifications
- Strong skills in Security Architecture Design and Information Security to design, document, and maintain secure AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with Application Security and Cybersecurity to evaluate, test, and secure cloud-based applications and services.
- Proficiency in Network Security to secure VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity within AWS and hybrid environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS security services (e.g., IAM, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, WAF) and cloud governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of security standards and regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar frameworks.
- Ability to perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews of architectures and deployments.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, CISM) are beneficial.
