We're looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to take Vision Weigh, our next-generation animal measurement capability, from prototype to commercial reality.
Vision Weigh uses cameras and advanced computer vision to capture animal weight and condition data as cattle move naturally through the paddock, eliminating the need for traditional yarding and weighing. It's one of the most exciting and technically challenging products in our portfolio.

You won't be training models in isolation.
You'll be solving real-world challenges where:

- Edge hardware has real constraints
- Products need to perform reliably on commercial farms
You'll own the computer vision capability, working alongside specialists in software, firmware, hardware, product and data engineering to turn innovative ideas into products farmers rely on every day.
What you'll be working on
- Computer vision model development and deployment
- Edge AI and embedded vision systems
- Depth sensing and calibration
- Model optimisation and retraining pipelines
- Ground truth data collection and validation
- Performance monitoring in real-world farm environments
- Moving prototypes into scalable commercial products
What we're looking for
- Experience delivering computer vision solutions into production
- Strong Python and PyTorch capability
- Expertise across segmentation, pose estimation and 3D/depth-based vision
- Experience deploying models on edge hardware
- Understanding of data pipelines, model training and experimentation
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and modern development practices
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and testing ideas quickly
