Role Overview
As a Mechanical Design Intern, you will contribute to the development of robotic systems and
AI-integrated solutions. The position involves hands-on work in mechanical design, prototyping,
and system integration, alongside a team of experienced engineers and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
- Generate detailed engineering drawings and support DFM (Design for Manufacturing) considerations
- Participate in prototyping activities using 3D printing, laser cutting, and conventional fabrication techniques
- Support mechanical testing, system assembly, and fault diagnosis
- Collaborate with software and electronics teams for integrated system development
- Assist with scripting and automation tasks using basic Python
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or recently completed a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering in Pune
- Familiar in using 3D Printer
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing techniques
- Proficiency in at least one CAD tool (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD)
- Fundamental knowledge of Python programming
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering tasks
- Demonstrated interest in robotics, AI, or automation technologies
Desirable Skills (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience with embedded platforms (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
- Familiarity with motor drivers, actuators, and sensor integration
- Exposure to rapid prototyping and fabrication workflows
- Version control systems (e.g., Git)
