We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer / Data Engineer to join our international team.
You will build scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines while contributing to architecture, code quality, and team growth.
Your Role and Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain APIs and data pipelines using Python, Flask, and FastAPI.
• Build distributed and asynchronous systems using Prefect, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Celery.
• Design and work with relational and non-relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra.
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture and delivery using AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, performance, and test coverage.
• Support technical decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional delivery.
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent for implementation, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• Apply agentic development workflows: define clear requirements and constraints, use AI to execute bounded tasks, validate outputs, run tests, and review changes before merge.
Essential Qualifications
• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in Python.
• Strong backend and data-engineering experience.
• Experience with distributed systems, messaging, asynchronous processing, and databases.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD, Docker, and modern engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of testing, performance, maintainability, and code quality.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools or coding agents in day-to-day development.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced spoken and written English.
