ABOUT THE ROLE
Quantum Instructors at aiqon shape how the next generation experiences quantum computing and quantum physics. You'll work with learners from Grade 6 to lifelong learners, online and in person, turning rigorous curriculum into live sessions, hands-on labs, and mentorship that sticks.
We're looking for people who love to explain hard concepts clearly, who get energy from seeing students "get it," and who want to be part of a small academic team that's building something new. You'll have real ownership: you'll deliver courses, design and run labs, give feedback, and help improve content and assessments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver courses as per the curriculum; bring subject expertise and clarity so that learners build strong foundations and stay engaged.
- Conduct live and synchronous sessions, including doubt-solving and timely feedback; create a supportive environment where every learner can participate and progress.
- Design and support hands-on labs and assignments using learning tools and visuals; reinforce concepts through demonstrations and spark curiosity.
- Mentor students and track progress; identify where learners need extra support and collaborate with the academic team to adapt content and approach.
- Contribute to content and assessment improvements; share insights from the classroom so that curriculum and materials keep getting better.
- Represent aiqon's standards of quality and care in every interaction with learners and parents; build trust and excitement around AI, Quantum & Space education.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Quantum computing or quantum physics, with the ability to teach at a level suitable for Grades 6–12 and beyond.
- Minimum qualification: Master's degree in Quantum Computing or a closely related field such as Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Quantum Information Science, OR a PhD in a relevant area, OR currently pursuing a PhD.
- Strong communication in English is essential; you must be able to explain concepts clearly and give feedback effectively to learners and parents.
- Ability to use learning tools and visuals to demonstrate concepts; you should be comfortable with hands-on demos, simulations, diagrams, and other teaching aids.
- Genuine passion for teaching and mentoring; you enjoy breaking down complex ideas and supporting learners of varying backgrounds and paces.
- Flexible work mode: remote, in-person, or hybrid—depending on program needs and your preference.
