Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Car Expert / Motor Claims Loss Adjuster role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, with the flexibility to work from home.
Duties
- Processing motor insurance claims including estimation and loss adjustment, verifying claim documentation, evaluating claim eligibility and calculating appropriate cost of repair or claim settlements accurately within a strict turnaround time.
- Handle and negotiate cost of repair/settlement with external parties.
- Participate in projects and initiatives set to achieve the departmental and organization key goals.
Knowledge & Experience
- Advanced experience in motor insurance and proficiency in Merimen are essential.
- Certificate in Basic Certificate Course in Insurance Loss Adjusting (BCCILA).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate and handle negotiation.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English.
- Ability to travel if required.
