I’m currently hiring for an AI & Data company in Japan that works directly with major enterprises to transform their core business operations through AI.
The team works with large companies to rethink how entire business processes should operate in an AI-native world, then designs and builds AI agents that can actually support and automate those workflows.
As an AI Agent Engineer, you will work closely with business and technology consultants from the initial concept stage through PoC, development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll work on:
- Design AI agent solutions around real enterprise business problems
- Build PoCs and turn successful concepts into production systems
- Develop AI agents through agile, iterative development
- Work with Python, LLMs, RAG, and modern AI development tools
- Continuously improve agents as customer workflows and business requirements evolve
- Work on 0 to 1 projects where the solution is not predefined
What they are looking for:
- Software engineering experience
- Strong development fundamentals
- Python experience is highly preferred
- LLM, RAG, AI Agent, or data platform experience is a plus
- Interest in solving business problems, not just technical problems
