Waresport is a sports club management platform built for the next generation of athletic organizations. We help clubs run scheduling, payments, communications, and their entire digital presence from one place. We're a fast moving startup and every person on the team has real impact.
What You'll Work On
- Building and testing AI powered automations that help sports clubs save time
- Prompting, evaluating, and iterating on LLM workflows using tools like Claude, GPT, or similar
- Helping research and prototype AI features we can ship to real clubs
- Supporting sales, onboarding, or operations workflows where AI can reduce manual work
- Documenting what works so we can scale it
Who We're Looking For
- A college student who is genuinely excited about AI, not just listing it on a resume
- Someone who learns fast, communicates clearly, and takes initiative
- Comfortable using AI tools hands on, not just talking about them
- No specific major required — business, CS, data, communications, sports management, all welcome
- Bonus if you have experience with no code tools, automation platforms, or prompt engineering
Compensation & Structure
This is a project based, volunteer learning experience designed for students seeking real world startup exposure. This role is not a paid position. We encourage students to explore whether this experience may qualify for academic credit through your university — many programs do, and we're happy to support that paperwork.
This structure is common in early stage startups and is intended to give motivated students access to real work, real mentorship, and a real equity path that a traditional internship at a big company simply cannot offer.
The Long Term Opportunity
We are looking for people who want to grow with us. If you perform well and want to stay involved after the internship, there is a clear path to a formal role on the team with equity. We are building something real and we want long term builders around us.
