Summary
We are looking for a Technical MOP Writer – Data Center Construction for our ongoing construction project who brings in strong project management, expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, vendor/contractor coordination, and the ability to integrate IT infrastructure requirements with construction delivery. Candidates need both technical construction knowledge and cross-functional collaboration skills. This role ensures safe, compliant, and well-coordinated execution of multidisciplinary project work while maintaining hyperscale clients' operational standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and experience working in complex, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Creation and Review of Method of Procedure (MOP) based on Site Design Documents; review and redline of Construction Documents (Engineering Drawings, Electrical & Plumbing Diagrams, Structured Cabling, etc).
- Prepare standard discipline deliverables, including standard work processes and tools.
- Maintain documentation, weekly updates, and communication through project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS SharePoint, Excel, etc.)
Qualifications/Experience
- 6+ years of industry experience, preferably in Datacenter & Infrastructure Construction, is required. Prior direct employment with a data center is an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of interaction between disparate low voltage systems (Client, EPMS, Fire Alarm
- Ability to read/interpret Construction Drawings
- Experience in Data Center / HUB Construction Planning
- Experience in Construction Trade Knowledge (Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical)
- OSHA 10 Certification (optional)
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites.
