Job Description
Function: Software Engineering → Mobile Development
- Flutter
- iOS
- Android
- Swift
- Dart
- Kotlin
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of software engineering experience, with significant hands-on experience in Flutter development.
- Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart, with experience building and shipping production-grade applications.
- Strong understanding of Flutter architecture, widget lifecycle, state management, navigation, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with state management frameworks such as BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, or similar.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
- Good understanding of mobile performance optimisation, memory management, networking, and debugging.
- Experience handling different device sizes, OS versions, and platform-specific requirements.
- Strong understanding of Git and modern software development practices.
- Experience writing unit, widget, and integration tests.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Ability to independently own and deliver complex features.
- Strong product mindset with an eye for performance, usability, and overall user experience.
Good To Have:
- Experience working in a B2C / consumer internet / high-scale product environment.
- Experience building applications with a large user base.
- Experience with native Android/iOS integrations and Flutter platform channels.
- Experience with Firebase, Crashlytics, Analytics, or similar monitoring platforms.
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes.
- Experience publishing and managing applications on the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.
- Experience with Flutter performance profiling and optimisation.
- Exposure to native Kotlin/Swift development.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
