About the Role
GenesectAi is seeking a Data Science Intern to support data analysis, statistical analysis, data visualization, and machine learning activities.
The selected intern will work on assigned data-related tasks and projects under the guidance of the team. This opportunity is intended for candidates who want to develop practical experience in applying data science concepts to real-world datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze datasets.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Apply basic statistical and analytical techniques to datasets.
- Develop, test, and evaluate basic machine learning models.
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings.
- Use tools and libraries such as Python, Pandas, NumPy, SQL, Matplotlib, and Seaborn where appropriate.
- Document analysis methods, assumptions, results, and findings.
- Assist with data-driven projects and business analysis tasks.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to the team.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of data science concepts.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or Excel.
- Basic knowledge of statistics and probability.
- Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or Seaborn is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.i
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work on assigned data science tasks.
