Senior Frontend Developer / Lead Developer Xara Cloud Client (m/f/d)

For our Xara Cloud Client Development Team, we are looking for an experienced developer who takes technical ownership, actively contributes to the codebase, and helps shape the future of our platform.
Your responsibilities
- Developing modern frontend applications for current web browsers and mobile devices
- Working with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, HTML5 and CSS
- Providing technical guidance within the Xara Cloud Client Development Team
- Integrating LLM providers and working with system messages, tools, RAG and MCP
- Advising the team on best practices for using LLMs within the development lifecycle
- Writing reliable, fast, testable and maintainable code
- Reviewing code with a focus on syntax, architecture and technical quality
- Helping define the technical direction at the start of new projects
- Managing changing requirements while keeping technical debt under control
- Working closely with an international, distributed development team
Your profile
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Several years of relevant experience in frontend development
- Solid experience with React, HTML5, CSS and Node.js
- Experience with LLMs and the integration of LLM providers
- Understanding of RAG, MCP, system messages and tools in an LLM context
- Interest in the underlying concepts of LLMs, such as temperature, embeddings, neural networks or self-attention
- A strong eye for code quality, architecture and technical design
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences
- Enjoyment of teamwork as well as solving problems independently
- A degree in IT, computer science, natural sciences or a comparable qualification
Additional experience in the following areas is a plus:
- Material UI, Figma, Git, Kubernetes or AWS
- OpenAI API or comparable interfaces
- Graphics, document or photo applications
- Graphical data formats
- Technical team leadership
