Primary Role:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 6-12 years of hands-on experience in accounting, financial management, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of basic accounting principles, Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, taxation, GST, returns filing, and regulatory compliance.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
- Handle GST compliance, including GST filing, returns, and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely tax filings, including TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory obligations.
- Assist in audits and coordinate with external auditors for statutory and tax audits.
- Manage accounts payable & receivable, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with accounting and tax laws.
- Support in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Work on MIS reports and other financial statements as required.
Job Specification:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation (GST, TDS), and compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
- Hands-on experience with GST filings, returns, and tax calculations.
- Good knowledge of Excel & MS Office for financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- SAP knowledge and hands on experience is preferred.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- 6-12 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
Additional Skills (If Any):
- Experience in handling monthly and annual tax filings.
- Knowledge of ROC filings and corporate compliance.
- Exposure to ERP systems and accounting automation tools.
