Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in backend application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, RESTful API development, microservices, databases, AWS, and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Django REST Framework.
- Develop scalable microservices and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Design teams to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues.
- Work closely with Support and Professional Services teams to resolve customer-reported issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and application monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Education
- BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, MCA, MS, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong academic record preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Core Python and OOP.
- Good understanding of data structures, collections, exception handling, and multithreading/concurrency.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, or Django REST Framework.
- Strong experience in RESTful API development and integrations.
- Experience with JSON, XML, web services, and API integrations.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
- Experience with SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization.
- Familiarity with JWT and OAuth.
- Experience with Git and Docker.
- Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Familiarity with PyTest or unittest.
