DWS is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead the delivery of high-value forecasting, optimisation and advanced analytics initiatives for a major enterprise client. This role will see you partnering with senior stakeholders, shaping business outcomes, building production-ready machine learning solutions, and providing technical leadership across distributed delivery teams. Based on a large-scale enterprise environment, you'll work across forecasting, predictive analytics, MLOps, optimisation and commercial decision support.

Salary: Up to $1,000/day (ACN) or up to $220K (inc super) Max Term
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Expert knowledge of Python, SQL and modern machine learning frameworks.
- Strong experience delivering forecasting, optimisation and predictive analytics solutions.
- Substantial experience deploying and supporting production machine learning models.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning and cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong capability in feature engineering, model monitoring, explainability and model lifecycle management.
- Experience working with enterprise data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and data storytelling skills.
- Ability to translate analytical outcomes into operational and commercial decisions.
- Experience mentoring data scientists and providing technical leadership across distributed teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline or equivalent professional experience.
