The Role: Cloud Data / AI Engineer, you will turn complex raw data into strategic assets and power modern AI solutions. You will design, build, and optimize scalable cloud data platforms, serverless data pipelines, and intelligent AI features for industry-leading clients.
You'll wear many hats depending on the project from architecting BigQuery or Snowflake data warehouses to deploying Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications on AWS Bedrock or GCP Vertex AI.

- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on software engineering or data engineering experience building production-grade data pipelines.
- Cloud Data Stack Mastery: Hands-on experience building data pipelines and platforms on AWS (Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift) or Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc).
- Core Programming Skills: High proficiency in Python and SQL (experience with Golang, Scala, or PySpark is a strong plus).
- Modern Data Tools: Practical experience with orchestrators and modeling tools such as dbt, Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- AI & Machine Learning Exposure: Familiarity with modern AI frameworks (eg, LangChain, LlamaIndex), vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, pgvector), or managed AI platforms (AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Basic experience automating data infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Location & Language: Full working proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus) and willingness to work in a hybrid setup split between home, client sites in the Benelux region, and our Hilversum/Amsterdam offices.
