Data Scientist / Data Visualization Analyst

Job Overview
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Scientist / Data Visualization Analyst to transform complex data into meaningful insights and clear visualizations that support business decision-making. The successful candidate will analyze datasets, identify trends and patterns, develop dashboards and reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret structured and unstructured data.

- Develop dashboards, reports, and interactive data visualizations.

- Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis.

- Create charts, graphs, and other visual representations of complex datasets.

- Work with business teams to understand analytical requirements and objectives.

- Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

- Assist with statistical analysis and predictive modeling when required.

- Develop and maintain data dashboards using visualization tools.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality.

- Translate complex analytical findings into clear and actionable business insights.

- Support data-driven decision-making across different departments.

- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, developers, and business teams.

- Document analytical processes, methodologies, and results.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.

- 0–3 years of experience in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, or data visualization.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or similar analytical tools.

- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

- Understanding of basic statistics and data analysis concepts.

- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building interactive dashboards and data visualization reports.

- Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics concepts.

- Knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

- Experience working with large datasets.

- Familiarity with cloud data platforms is a plus.

- Strong portfolio of academic, personal, or professional data projects.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
