Founding Data Scientist & AI Engineer
Location: Munich, Germany
Compensation: €110k–€130k + Equity
The Role & Culture
Working closely with the founding team in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment, this role seeks a high-agency builder with strong multi-domain fluency.
What You Will Do
- Design and productionize advanced ML models, recommendation systems, and multi-modal biomarker estimation (video, audio, text).
- Build conversational medical agents, advanced reasoning engines, and scale a comprehensive digital twin dataset.
- Research novel healthcare technologies, manage production code, and drive internal AI adoption.
What You Bring
- Background: 5+ years of industry experience (or 1+ year with a PhD) in a startup or high-ownership setting, plus an MSc in Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Tech Stack: Advanced Python and Git skills; deep learning frameworks (PyTorch); signal processing; and experience with agentic architectures and recommendation systems.
- Core Competencies: Strong grasp of SDLC, foundational ML/statistics, and professional English communication. Experience in regulated sectors (e.g., healthcare/fintech) or published research is a plus.
