Entry-Level Software Developer

Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Software Developer to join our technology team. This role is ideal for recent graduates, coding bootcamp graduates, or candidates with internship, academic, or personal project experience in software development.
The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug, and maintain clean and efficient code.
- Develop and enhance software applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify solutions.
- Work with team members to understand requirements and deliver assigned features.
- Create and maintain technical documentation when required.
- Learn and apply new programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic to intermediate coding experience in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or C#.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and databases.
- Familiarity with Git/version control is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Candidates with academic projects, internships, freelance work, or personal coding projects are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building projects using web, mobile, backend, or cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and SQL.
- Experience using GitHub or similar code repositories.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or examples of coding projects.
