As a Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and patterns and use your findings to develop predictive models and make strategic recommendations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions that help us achieve our goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze large, complex data sets using statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to identify patterns and trends
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and results to stakeholders
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Collaborate with data engineers to develop and maintain data infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in data science or related role
- Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
