Role Overview
Inductive Quotient Analytics is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in Python, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to build scalable analytics and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience building AI applications, and data products that deliver measurable business value.
The role involves collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Hands-on experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, FastAPI, SQL, and modern AI frameworks is highly desirable, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy (ORM).
- Build and optimize Generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs, LLM APIs, Agents, Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, and NLP.
- Develop and maintain web scraping, automated data processing, and job scheduling pipelines.
- Design and optimize relational database schemas and complex SQL queries.
- Integrate AI models and APIs into production-grade applications.
- Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality through best practices, unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to solution design, technical documentation, and architectural discussions.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
- Experience with FastAPI and RESTful API development.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy.
- Strong expertise in Web Scraping and data extraction frameworks.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, and Document processing.
- Good understanding of Generative AI, Data Science, NLP, and Machine Learning concepts.
- Experience working with version control systems (Git) and software development best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure Technical Architecture and Solution Design.
- Ability to create and deliver effective technical presentations.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and providing technical guidance.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices.
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, clinical or regulated applications
Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
