NextBoard Solutions is looking for a Hong Kong based AI specialist to help design and build practical AI solutions for HK listed issuer disclosure, corporate governance, and compliance workflows, through its AI native platform @Aidisclose.ai. The focus is not on general AI demos, but on building reliable tools that can support real disclosure and compliance work under the HK Listing Rules.
Role Description. The Applied AI Product Engineer will work closely with our experts to build and refine AI-native solutions that serve board members and governance professionals. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Hong Kong SAR, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time.
Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing product features, integrating AI models and automation workflows, and contributing to the architecture and engineering of the “Aidisclose” platform and other tools. The role involves analyzing regulatory and governance requirements, translating them into product specifications, and collaborating across disciplines to ensure usability, reliability, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Hands-on product engineering experience, including building and maintaining production-grade software services or platforms, ideally involving AI or automation.
- Product design capabilities, such as designing user flows, and ensuring that AI-driven features are intuitive and accessible.
- Experience in research and development (R&D), including experimenting with AI techniques, prototyping new features, and evaluating emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript) and familiarity with cloud-based development and deployment.
- Understanding of or interest in corporate governance, compliance, legaltech, or regtech; prior experience in these domains is an advantage but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Hong Kong SAR, manage priorities independently, and thrive in a small, innovation-focused team.
