Braun Management assists executive teams in solving complex organizational friction through evidence-backed analysis and structural clarity. We provide leadership with the honest conclusions needed to address underperformance and clarify decision rights.
The role
We are currently looking for a Junior Web Designer to support a long-term engagement with a South African financial partner. This position is central to how we present structural findings and data tools to the partner executive team. As a fully remote contributor, you will help design digital environments that make complex information easier to move through and act upon. This role is a full-time, permanent position designed for someone early in their career who appreciates the importance of functional, clear design over aesthetic trends.
What you will do
- Assist in designing and updating web pages that host internal reports and data visualizations for our South African financial partner.
- Create clear and accessible wireframes for new internal tools used by executive leadership teams.
- Maintain consistency across digital platforms by following established design systems and internal documentation.
- Work with our consulting team to ensure visual layouts reflect the structural precision required by our clients.
- Review existing web content for usability issues and propose simple, evidence-backed improvements to the interface.
- Organize assets and design files in a central remote repository to ensure team accessibility.
- Support the development of interactive prototypes that demonstrate how new organizational tools will function in practice.
What we are looking for
- Basic familiarity with design software such as Figma or similar industry tools.
- A foundational understanding of HTML and CSS to ensure that designs can be implemented technically.
- Strong attention to detail and an interest in how complex business systems are represented visually.
- Ability to write clearly about your design choices and explain the logic behind a specific layout.
- Curiosity about organizational structures and how digital tools help resolve operational friction.
- A portfolio or collection of projects demonstrating a clean, professional style suitable for the financial sector.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the specific governance requirements of our international partners.
How we work
We are a fully remote team that relies heavily on written documentation and clear communication. Instead of constant meetings, we prioritize focused work and well-reasoned proposals. Each team member is expected to maintain high standards of precision and accountability, as our work often involves sensitive organizational changes. We value honest feedback and a grounded approach to solving problems, where evidence always takes precedence over flashy graphics. Our remote structure allows for flexibility while maintaining the rigor required for executive-level consulting.
What we offer
- A full-time, permanent position with a fully remote work arrangement.
- Competitive pay that is attractive for an entry-level design role in the current market.
- Direct involvement in complex international projects, including our work with South African financial institutions.
- A professional environment that values intellectual rigor and clear thinking.
- Access to modern collaboration tools and a structured onboarding process to help you get started.
- Opportunities to learn about executive consulting, organizational restructuring, and DACH region business standards.
This role provides a direct look at how digital design supports the resolution of high-level organizational problems. By creating clear and functional tools, you help our partners see their own operations with greater clarity. Your work will contribute to the evidence-backed solutions we provide to leadership teams, ensuring they have a reliable path forward when navigating structural change.
