Audit Manager
Our public accounting client in the Springfield area is seeking an Audit Manager to lead client engagements, oversee audit teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
This position will pay between $100-120K on a base salary
Responsibilities
- Manage audit engagements from planning through completion
- Oversee fieldwork, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Review audit workpapers prior to Partner review
- Serve as a primary client contact and build strong relationships
- Identify client needs and opportunities for additional services
- Mentor, train, and develop Associates and Senior Associates
- Support business development and practice growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- CPA or CPA-track
- 5+ years of public accounting/audit experience
- Strong client management and leadership skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and technology proficiency
