Simplyblock sells storage infrastructure to major enterprises, and this role sits at the operational center of that. You will work closely with the founders, primarily the CEO, on the things that decide whether a startup executes: GTM performance, sales support, finance, legal, and events. The role is based in our Berlin Mitte office (at Naturkundemuseum), in-office at least 4 days per week, starting as soon as possible.
What are the tasks?
- Sales and marketing performance management: track the SDR/AE machine and campaign results, build performance dashboards, identify issues, and push for corrections when metrics drift
- Enterprise sales support: assist on complex deals with large companies, run research, prepare materials, manage RFPs and security questionnaires, and keep sales cycles moving
- Marketing, events, and PR: own our conference presence (KubeCon, Red Hat Summits), coordinate campaigns and PR activities, and execute launches from planning through retrospective
- Finance and administration: handle invoicing and expense tracking, manage contracts, NDAs, and compliance documents, and support vendor management
How You’ll Work
Simplyblock operates AI-native. You will use Claude across your workflows, including connectors, APIs, agents, and Claude Code, to automate the repetitive parts of every task above. The culture is zero BS: no pointless meetings, no weekly 1:1 theater, no managers of managers.
What’s required?
- 1-2 years of operator experience at startups, consultancies, VC/PE, or in founding roles (internships count; a competitive sports background is also a signal we value)
- Demonstrated excellence in building, leading, or shipping projects
- Daily use of Claude or similar AI tooling, with automations you have actually deployed
- Comfort with the terminal, a CRM, and spreadsheets
- Genuine interest in deep tech infrastructure
- Fluent English; German is a strong advantage
- Based in Berlin or able to relocate immediately
