Kaizen are partnered with a leading cybersecurity company specialising in cryptography, secure digital identities, key management and certification lifecycle management.
We are actively seeking a System Administrator to join their team in Darmstadt, Germany. With strong experience across Linux/Windows administration, virtualisation, networking and automation, with a keen interest in IT security and cryptography.
Some of the responsibilities:
- Administer and secure Linux, Windows and FreeBSD systems
- Manage Linux servers, Docker and virtualisation environments
- Plan and operate networks including routers and switches
- Automate processes using Bash, Python and Ansible
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues and optimise performance
- Support IT security, ISMS and ISO 27001 requirements
- Manage patching, updates and technical documentation
Key requirements:
- Experience in System Administration / IT Infrastructure
- Strong Linux server and Windows client experience
- Knowledge of Docker, VMware and/or KVM
- Networking and infrastructure experience
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python and ideally Ansible
- Interest in IT security and cryptography
- C1 German and good English
Nice to haves:
- Debian, Ansible and Wazuh
- PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL or Oracle
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 / ISMS
- Exposure to AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG or image/video AI
