Senior AI Researcher – Geospatial AI / Machine Learning
We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Researcher to join a team working on advanced AI and machine learning solutions for geospatial applications.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in machine learning and deep learning who enjoys researching cutting-edge technologies and translating them into practical, real-world products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and train machine learning algorithms for geospatial applications.
- Research and review relevant publications and emerging AI technologies.
- Apply cutting-edge AI/ML concepts to real-world products and solutions.
- Work closely with product and business teams to understand business objectives and determine AI requirements.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI algorithms into geospatial system products.
- Support technical discussions and provide pre- and post-sales technical support where required.
Requirements
- Degree/background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in AI, machine learning, deep learning or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with relevant AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as: PyTorch, Scikit-learn, OpenCV, LangChain
- Experience with Flask, Node.js or similar application frameworks.
- Knowledge of Docker/containerisation and rapid prototyping.
- Motivated, proactive, results-oriented and able to work independently.
