AI/ML Engineer – Python
Processing Partners – Kairossys is looking for an AI/ML Engineer with 2–3 years of professional experience and strong hands-on knowledge of Python fundamentals, Machine Learning and AI development.

Responsibilities
- Develop, train, test and optimize Machine Learning models.
- Build AI/ML solutions using Python.
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable Python code.
- Perform data preprocessing, transformation and feature engineering.
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets.
- Develop APIs for integrating AI/ML models with applications.
- Evaluate model performance and improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Debug and troubleshoot Python and ML-related issues.
- Collaborate with software engineering and other technical teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
Mandatory Skills
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong Python fundamentals are mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Python data types, functions, classes, modules, exception handling and OOP concepts.
- Good understanding of data structures and problem-solving using Python.
- Hands-on experience with Machine Learning.
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn.
- Understanding of data preprocessing and feature engineering.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Experience with model training, validation and evaluation.
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience developing APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
- Understanding of Deep Learning concepts.
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG or vector databases.
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

Candidates must:
- Have 2–3 years of relevant AI/ML or software development experience.
- Have strong hands-on Python fundamentals.
- Have practical Machine Learning experience.
- Be currently residing in West Bengal.
- Be comfortable working on-site in Kolkata.
