We’re Hiring: Principal / Staff Roku Engineers – BrightScript
Location: Bangalore, India – Onsite
Engagement: 9–10 months | Full-time, 40 hrs/week
We are looking for highly experienced Principal / Staff Engineers specializing in Roku BrightScript to work on a complex streaming application.
Must-Have Expertise
* Strong hands-on experience with Roku BrightScript & SceneGraph
* Proven architecture experience with large-scale streaming/OTT applications
* At least one Roku application successfully shipped and currently in production, having passed full Roku Channel Certification
* Deep expertise in SceneGraph threading, render-thread isolation & asynchronous Task nodes
* Strong experience with memory/performance diagnostics, including BrightScript Profiler and leak prevention
* Ability to design componentized, contract-driven BrightScript architectures
* Experience reverse-engineering native/C++ SDK behavior and implementing equivalent functionality in BrightScript
* Strong debugging and performance optimization skills on resource-constrained Roku hardware
* AI/specification-driven development experience is a plus
