Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Vision Engineer role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Computer Vision Engineer will design, implement, and optimize algorithms for image and video analysis, including object detection, tracking, segmentation, and recognition. Daily responsibilities include building and evaluating models, processing and annotating datasets, and integrating computer vision solutions into production systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role involves experimenting with new techniques, refining existing pipelines, and documenting technical approaches and results. The engineer will also support deployment, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of computer vision services in real-world environments.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, with experience applying these methods to real-world image or video data.

- Background in Computer Science or related fields, with solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.

- Experience in Data Science, including data preprocessing, model evaluation, and performance analysis for vision-related tasks.

- Understanding of Robotics concepts, especially perception and sensor fusion, and how computer vision integrates with robotic systems.

- Proficiency in Python or C++ and use of common computer vision and machine learning libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow).

- Familiarity with cloud or edge deployment, version control (e.g., Git), and collaborative development workflows.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

- Ability to work on-site in the London Area, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
