Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a Partnerships Manager to drive the growth and expansion of our client's strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related field, along with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills. This person will identify new partnership opportunities, develop and nurture B2B relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure partnerships align with broader company objectives.
You will work closely with product, engineering, and executive leadership to shape and execute partnership strategies that support long-term growth and expansion of the company's ecosystem.
- Identify and evaluate new partnership and business development opportunities
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with B2B partners
- Lead partnership discussions, negotiations, and agreement development
- Develop strategies to expand the company's ecosystem and identify new application opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and executive leadership
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth
- Manage partnership pipelines and maintain accurate activity and relationship records
- Support the development and execution of strategic business initiatives
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure successful partnership launches and ongoing relationships
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales, or a related role
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills with a demonstrated track record of achieving business objectives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain B2B relationships
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering
- Proficiency with CRM and business development tools for pipeline and relationship management
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related field
- Experience working in technology or software development companies
- Experience managing complex business agreements and strategic partnerships
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Strategy, or a related field
- Experience with international business development and global partnerships
- Familiarity with contract negotiation, legal terms, and compliance considerations
