Hussh combines a personal agent experience, a robust consent protocol, and a developer platform that enables builders to create specialist agents without recreating trust infrastructure. Through the Personal Consent Handshake Protocol (PCHP), agents request only the context they need for a declared purpose, with built-in revocation and audit trails. The Hussh Developer Platform and SDK help developers scaffold agents, validate consent behavior, run sandbox personas, and prepare certified specialist agents for deployment in evolving agent ecosystems.
Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer – Private Agent Infrastructure will work on-site full time in Kirkland, WA, embedding with customers and internal teams to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure for consent-first AI agents. This role focuses on building secure, privacy-preserving systems that support user-owned memory, consent-scoped context, and financial intelligence workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include integrating agent workflows with developer APIs, Model Context Protocol, and other ecosystem tools, as well as optimizing performance, reliability, and observability of private compute paths. The engineer will collaborate closely with product, security, and developer experience teams to translate real-world requirements into robust technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues in production environments, and support deployments in highly regulated or sensitive domains.
Qualifications
- Strong backend engineering skills, with experience in designing and operating distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Expertise in security, privacy, and consent-aware architectures, including access control, audit logging, and data protection best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure engineering and DevOps practices, such as containerization, orchestration, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with AI/agent platforms, model context protocols, or workflow orchestration tools, and integrating them into production systems.
- Ability to work directly with customers or stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into reliable technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear technical communication, and comfort working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in financial technology, compliance-heavy domains, or privacy-focused products is a plus.
