Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Murex Developer with strong expertise in Murex Datamart reporting to join the MEA Tech team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting Datamart solutions within the Murex platform, ensuring accurate, scalable, and high-performance reporting for business and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities across SQL, Java/Python, and database technologies, along with hands-on experience in Murex Datamart architecture and configuration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experienced in Murex Market Risk with strong expertise in VaR, sensitivities (Greeks), stress testing, and P&L analysis.
- Hands-on experience with MRA/MRE configuration, risk calculation validation, and risk reporting within MX.3.
- Solid knowledge of capital markets products (FX, IRD, Fixed Income) and full trade lifecycle. Proficient in SQL and Unix for data analysis, reconciliation, and troubleshooting, with exposure to implementations, upgrades, testing (SIT/UAT), and L2/L3 production support. Strong analytical skills with ability to collaborate across Risk, Front Office, and IT stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 6–9 years of experience in Murex development with strong focus on Murex Datamart and Market Risk module.
- Hands-on experience in Datamart configuration, feeders, and reporting architecture.
- Strong SQL expertise (query writing, performance tuning, stored procedures).
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python for integration and automation tasks.
- Experience working in Windows Server 2012 and Linux environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in risk, finance, or regulatory reporting domains.
- Knowledge of Murex workflows and trade lifecycle.
- Exposure to batch scheduling and job automation tools.
- Understanding of data reconciliation and financial data controls.
- Experience working in large-scale banking or capital markets environments.
