- Strong full-stack engineer who can build AI-enabled web applications end to end — from frontend experience through backend APIs, data flows, model integration, deployment and support.
- Comfortable working across:
- Frontend: JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML, CSS
- Backend: Python, FastAPI / Flask, Node.js / Express
- AI integration: OpenAI / Azure OpenAI, LangChain / LlamaIndex, vector search, embeddings, RAG pipelines
- Data: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, object storage, APIs, structured and unstructured data
- Cloud & DevOps: Azure / AWS, Docker, CI/CD, GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps
Core Responsibilities
- Build modern web applications with clean, responsive, usable interfaces.
- Develop backend services and APIs in Python and/or Node.js.
- Integrate AI models into real business workflows, not just demos.
- Build features such as:
- Chat interfaces
- Document upload and analysis
- Semantic search
- Retrieval Augmented Generation — RAG
- Workflow automation
- AI agents / tool-calling flows
- Data extraction and summarisation
- Design and implement secure API layers between frontend, backend, AI services and databases.
- Work with vector databases and embedding models to support knowledge search and contextual AI responses.
- Handle file processing for PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, images and structured datasets.
- Create reusable components, services and utilities that other teams can build on.
- Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
