A leading investment firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to take on the role of Investment Director. This leadership position will play a critical role in driving the company’s strategic investment initiatives, focusing on private equity and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep industry knowledge, and a passion for investment management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with the company’s corporate objectives and growth plans.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute potential investment opportunities, including conducting comprehensive financial and operational due diligence.
- Lead the negotiation process with target companies, ensuring favorable outcomes for the organization.
- Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to assess the strategic fit of potential investments.
- Monitor market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities within the investment landscape.
- Prepare and present detailed investment proposals and reports to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with investment banks, advisory firms, and other relevant stakeholders in the investment ecosystem.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring timely execution of investment transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the investment process.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events to promote investment initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of successful investment transactions within private equity or related industries.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and corporate finance principles.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management, M&A, or corporate development.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
- Experience working in Asia-Pacific markets, with a strong understanding of local regulatory and business landscapes.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus.
