AI Research Scientist

Seeking an AI Research Scientist to join a globally recognised technology organisation at the forefront of AI research. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop novel AI models and algorithms.

- Conduct research across multiple machine learning domains.

- Build and maintain large-scale datasets and data pipelines.

- Collaborate with research and engineering teams to translate ideas into deployable solutions.

- Evaluate and improve model performance through experimentation and analysis.

- Contribute to research publications, technical reports, and knowledge sharing.

Required Experience & Skills

- PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics

- Excellent publications history with research published in at least one of the following; CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR

- Experience in the industry as an AI Research Scientist or similar, working on the full-cycle development of ML algorithms, from design to implementation in Python & PyTorch

- Research expertise in one of the following: large language models ( LLMs ), vision-language models ( VLMs ), multimodal AI, foundation models, or generative AI.

- Solid understanding of transformer-based architectures.

- Experience with model pre-training and fine-tuning.

- Familiarity with distributed training environments and large-scale compute infrastructure.

- Contributions to open-source projects or AI research communities.
