Role Overview: Founding NLP / Edge AI Engineer
We are hiring a founding engineer to build efficient NLP pipelines and deploy optimized models directly to local edge hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build structured NLP translation pipelines and entity extraction systems.
- Fine-tune lightweight Seq2Seq models (T5, MarianMT) for custom vocabularies.
- Develop and optimize inference pipelines for local edge execution.
- Tech Stack: Python, PyTorch / TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
- Bonus: Model compilation and quantization to ONNX format for maximum local inference speed.
Qualifications
- Strong CS fundamentals: Data structures, algorithms, APIs, and version control (Git).
- Applied expertise in neural networks and pattern recognition (training, tuning, and evaluating models).
