Job Description: Arcadia University invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Physician Assistant Program at the Glenside Campus.
Qualifications
- At least three years of clinical experience.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Adept interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skillful problem solving capabilities.
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Student-centered approach to learning, teaching and advising professional practices.
- Support for accreditation efforts to meet all standards and remain in compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in physician assistant studies or related healthcare field is required; doctorate degree or willingness to pursue a doctorate degree is preferred.
- NCCPA Board certification.
- Working understanding of the current PA education standards as defined by the Accreditation.
- Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
- At least three years of clinical experience as a healthcare provider.
