Role Description The Information Technology Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai South, responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure. Daily responsibilities include monitoring and administering networks, setting up and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring reliable connectivity across departments. The specialist will diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide user support, and escalate complex problems when necessary. The role also involves implementing and maintaining network security measures, managing backups, and updating systems to protect against vulnerabilities. Collaboration with internal teams and vendors to optimize systems and support production operations is a key part of this position.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Information Technology and Troubleshooting skills to manage systems and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Network Administration skills to configure, monitor, and maintain wired and wireless networks.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills to implement security protocols, manage firewalls, and safeguard data and systems.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to support end users, communicate clearly, and provide timely assistance.
- Relevant experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, servers, and basic database or ERP support is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
