About This Role
Quality Engineering is no longer just about finding defects, it's about preventing them, predicting them, and continuously improving software quality through intelligent automation. You'll design intelligent quality pipelines that leverage AI-assisted test generation, predictive defect analysis, self-healing automation, and continuous quality insights to accelerate software delivery while improving reliability. Working closely with developers, product teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders, you'll ensure quality is built into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Build AI-assisted test automation solutions that improve testing speed, coverage, and accuracy
- Leverage AI to generate, optimise, and maintain functional, regression, API, and integration test cases
- Implement predictive defect analysis to identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality engineering
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, DevOps Engineers, and Business Analysts to define quality strategies
- Validate AI-powered applications, conversational interfaces, and intelligent business workflows
- Perform functional, API, database, performance, and end-to-end testing across distributed systems
- Analyse quality metrics and recommend improvements to engineering teams
- Champion Quality Engineering best practices across Agile and DevSecOps environments
What You Need to Succeed
- 3-8 years of experience combining automation expertise with AI-driven testing practices
- Test automation proficiency across Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium, with strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- API testing experience with Postman, REST APIs, GraphQL, or SOAP
- AI-assisted test case generation and self-healing automation framework experience
- Experience testing AI-powered applications, LLMs, and conversational interfaces, or validating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications
- Comfort with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI engineering assistants
