Core Responsibilities:
- HR-Centric Agent Creation & Build: Act as the critical bridge between HR business needs and AI execution. Leverage your deep understanding of the People space to translate specific HR business requirements into functional, custom AI solutions using Workday Custom and Google Gemini Enterprise agents.
- HR Process Re-architecture: Leverage your HR domain expertise to map complex, traditional People processes and re-architect them into highly efficient, multi-step agentic workflows that optimize operational efficiency and enhance the quality of process execution.
- Context-Aware Prompt Engineering: Design, test, and continuously refine system prompts with a deep understanding of tone, communication standards, and policy nuance. Utilize advanced prompt engineering to ensure all AI agents provide accurate, contextually appropriate, and highly secure responses grounded in trusted enterprise HR data.
- System Maintenance & Employee Experience Assurance: Own the ongoing health and reliability of the HR AI ecosystem. Conduct rigorous testing on new agents specifically from an end-user (employee/candidate) perspective, monitor performance, troubleshoot inaccuracies (hallucinations), and implement updates to ensure a seamless, high-quality digital employee experience.
- Process Documentation & Capability Mapping: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all AI agents, including prompt libraries, data flow diagrams, and HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure business continuity, auditability, and clear guidelines for the wider People Team.
- Compliance & Security Alignment: Work closely with the Lead, People Ops AI Strategy,
- InfoSec, and Legal teams to ensure all built agents adhere to strict employee data privacy standards, HR compliance regulations, role-based access controls, and ethical AI frameworks before pushing to production.

The AI Solutions Specialist, People Ops is a key solutions builder in our global HR ecosystem, you will report to the HR Tech & Workday Operations Manager in Bangalore, while partnering directly with the US-based Lead, People Ops AI Strategy to translate our overarching AI roadmap into functional reality. You will be hands-on in the platform specifically leveraging Google Gemini Enterprise, Workday & Custom Agents to build, test, and maintain the autonomous workflows that will modernize our day to day operations. This role is for a builder who obsesses over process optimization, prompt engineering, quality, and creating seamless human machine interactions.
Education
- Demonstrated expertise in mapping complex, traditional HR processes and re-architecting them into streamlined, AI-enabled workflows, with a strong emphasis on continuous process optimization.
- Direct, hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining custom-coded and low-code/no-code AI automations, specifically with AI agent platforms (experience with Workday Agents and Google Gemini Enterprise Agents is highly preferred)..
- Advanced proficiency in prompt engineering, with a deep understanding of Large Language Model (LLM) behaviors, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and data grounding techniques.
- Strong background in systems administration, HRIS configuration, or technical process automation (experience with Workday architecture is a strong plus).
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements from HR stakeholders into functional, technical AI workflows.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong skills in technical writing, process mapping, and system documentation.
- Understanding of enterprise data privacy standards, role-based permissions, and compliance within a highly secure or regulated enterprise environment.
